Technorama is an exciting, hands on science museum in Winterhur, Switzerland. You are encouraged to learn about science, nature and engineerng by touching and interacting with the hundreds of experiment stations, labs, exhibits and adventure rooms. Sounds good right?!
2021 saw the introduction of the new outdoor area, which opened in April. Here you can experience the power of wind, the properties of sunlight and the force of water in a beautifully landscaped and interavtive environment. Central to the new area is the impressive structure of the Falling Water exhibit. Every 20 minutes, five tonnes of water falls from a glass cube and creates quite a splash on its upward return! For those keen to discover how wet the water is, don’t worry – there are two Hurricane dryers on hand to dry you off on your return to the indoor section of the museum.
Simon Nicholson – Haystack Dryers BDM said “It's great to add another museum to our broad rage of customers! The new falling water exhibition is truly one of its kind and an amazing feat of engineering to experience. Often people do not plan to get wet at museums so its important to add a guest service that keeps them warm and dry for the rest of their stay. The alternative could be that they leave the attraction early or are uncomoftable due to wet clothing"
