In a welcome break from other, more sombre news, senator Bernie Sanders became a viral meme and exploded across social media, being photoshopped into an increasingly creative variety of images.
The photo, from Joe Biden’s inauguration, features the senator sitting cross-legged in a chair and wearing a coat, mask and mittens and has appeared in famous secenes from movies, paintings and historic backgrounds.
The picture has also made an appearance in the leisure industry with Bernie being spotted in rollercoasters, simulators, ghost trains and using payment systems. Not wanting to miss out on the fun, we thought Bernie would look at home keeping warm and socially distanced in a body dryer!
