We pay with We Chat Pay at Chinese dryers.

Haystack Dryers is rolling out mobile payment to a number of key customers in China.

Having tested a number of systems, the Nayax VPOS touch has floated to the top and now in place at a number of sites.  The Vpos Touch is a tamper proof device that generates a unique digital QR code that the user scans with their phone to approve payment and initiate the dryer.  We are currently accepting payment by We Chat Pay, Alipay and Union Pay.  QR payment is a very common way of paying for almost everything in China and this system replaces the static, easy to copy, QR codes that are in shops and vending machines in China.

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom have all four of their body dryers on the Nayax system and are accepting cash as well, on a dual payment system.  Since the option of mobile payment, cash sales account for less than 10% of transactions resulting in faster transaction times, less issues with wet or old notes and proving that the guests like to pay in this way.

Happy Valley Shnaghai have trialled mobile payment only on their busiest dryer which has shown an increases in sales and faster transaction times.  Additionally there are now none of the costs and staff time associated with cash collection and banking.

More mobile payment devices are planned at our many sites in China as we progress through the year.
