Nettebad is all about sports, fun and wellness with a history dating back to 1883. The facility hosts a competition pool, a leisure pool, slides a sauna and spa as well as karting and educational elements. It is part of a collection of pool complexes encompassing Nettebad, Schinklebad and Moscaubad in Osnabrück, Germany.
The leisure pool is a fun day out for the whole family with a kids area, hot tubs, wave ball and other adventure or play features. Braver swimmers can experience the slides including the vertical drop water slide ‘Sloop’
Being one of the biggest waterparks in Europe, it was decided to add a Hurricane dryer to the leisure pool area that would provide a much needed guest service to people in different areas of the complex, on their way back to the changing rooms. The dryer has been connected to their cashless system which allows the visitors to pay for the dryer using their RFID payment bracelet. The dryer is located on the pool side, next to the entrance to the changing rooms, allowing people can get dry quickly on their way out or before enjoying food from the restaurant. This makes for quicker changing room throughput with less mess in the changing rooms. The dryer adds a luxurious way to end your day and is a fun experience for the children too.
Simon Nicholson, BDM at Haystack Dryers noted “Waterparks, saunas and spas are incredibly popular in Germany and we are delighted to extend our customer base in this market with the addition of such a well known leisure facility as Nettebad. It's great to include this guest service and to have it connect so seamlessly via their RFID payment system”
