Themre Erding, the largest thermal bath complex in Europe, has added a new body dryer to the wave pool area by the new hotel. This brings the total number of dryers up to 4 across the attraction.
This incredible spa complex has many zones and activities, from super fast waterslides, to relaxing sulphur mineral springs and has an amazing, ship-themed hotel. The dryers are being used as an alternative to conventional towel drying and to dry guests quickly prior to enjoying another activity and have proved to be a huge success. The site has an RFID cashless payment system which the dryers link up to, making it an easier decision to get dry than having to get cash from lockers or bags.
Marcus Maier, Managing Director of Therme erding, said ““We have been very happy with the revenue generated by the dryers at Therme Erding. Our guests have reacted very positively to this new method of drying” Simon Nicholson from Haystack Dryers said "The early evidence shows that the incremental revenue is up, meaning people are still using the other dryers in different areas. This is a new untapped area within the attraction and the guests are using it more than ever!"
