Haystack Dryers are very pleased to supply Tayto Park with a body dryer for their new Viking Voyage log flume ride. Tayto Park is Ireland’s biggest theme park with over 750,000 visitors and growing every year. It was built on the success of the Tayto crisp brand and has developed to include many exciting rides, experiences and a huge wooden coaster.
The log flume, opening mid-June, is part of the Viking vilage area and has some incredible theming and attention to detail. The Interlink built Super Flume includes some cool features including three drops (one of which is backwards) and a speed curve that ends in the inevitable water splash. With everyone wanting to experiencing this new ride it was important to include a Cyclone dryer into the development plans to ensure the guests will be able to get dry after the ride. The cyclone dryer is the large, outdoor body dryer model that can dry up to 5 people at a time in around three minutes.
Simon Nicholson, BDM at Haystack Dryers said “We are really pleased to be included in a project that has been so meticulously designed and planned. We look forward to visiting the new ride and using the dryer once we get wet!”
