December saw the first full month of operation for the latest upgrades to the increasingly popular Haystack Cyclone Dryers at Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando Florida.
The latest upgrades include a new payment option, the USA Technologies G9 system. The G9 works in tandem with the bill validators to allow the park visitors to activate the dryers with cash, credit cards, debit cards, iPhones, Apple Watch, and any NFC equipped mobile device.
"The addition of the new payment system has already proved to be more popular than we had anticipated", explains Wayne Jacks, US Operations Manager for Haystack Dryers. Jacks continues, "The ability to remove the frustration of soggy dollar bills, speed up the transaction process, and make the dryer available to those who do not have correct change are just a few of the benefits that park goers will enjoy. As an operator, we can now remotely access real-time sales data, machine status, and track busy periods to help to understand ways to improve guest flow and reduce wait times."
